Ingredients :
lady finger - 500 gm
tomato - 4 no
chopped onion - 2 small
green chili - 4 to 6 no
ginger garlic paste - 1 tb spoon
red chili powder - 1 tb spoon
turmeric - a pinch
salt - as per the taste
masala - 1 tb spoon
oil - 2 tb spoon
mustard seeds - 1/4th a spoon
coriander leaves - half a cup
Preparation Method :
1) Wash the lady finger and tomato in fresh water and cut them into small pieces , chop 2 onions , green chili finely and wash them .
2) Take a pan , heat oil then add mustard seeds, green chili after small break add chopped onion sprinkle little salt and fry all these very well .
3) Now add lady finger fry them for almost 10 min on slow flame (so that all the glue (gum) will goes away ).
then add red chili powder , turmeric , salt mix it real good
4) Add tomatoes mix all and cook it for 5 min , sprinkle masala , coriander leaves ..
Serve it hot with roti , bread , rice , chapathi ..!!!

Thanks for these bachelor recipes KMS I enjoy trying them. Iv'e tried the egg bhurji and Bengal gram dal with egg and enjoyed both of them . I would appreciate a few vegetable/fish recipes from Orissa, as I see that's where you are studying. I live in a small village in Wales so its not always easy to get some of the more unusual ingredients such as amaranth, tamarind and bottle gourd. It would be nice if you had an index system on your blog to make it easier to find recipes.
