Tomato Aloo (Potato) Recipe

Ingredients:



aloo - 500 gm
tomato - 200 gm
mustard seed - half a spoon
cumin seed - 1 spoon
turmeric - a pinch  
ginger garlic paste - 1 tb spoon 
salt - as per required 
oil - 2 tb spoon
red chili powder - 1 tb spoon
green chili - 4 no
masala - 2 tb spoon
chopped onion - 2 no
coriander leaves - 1/2  a cup
curry leaves - 1/2 a cup

 Method :

1) Take aloo in a dish and add water until it covers all the aloo, the keep a lid on it , boil them for 10 min. after aloo boiled for 10 min , remove skin (peal out the skin on it). cut them into small pieces (not too small pieces )

2) Meanwhile cut tomatoes , onion ,red chili , coriander leaves 

3) Take a pan add oil , after oil become add mustard seed , cumin seed , chopped green chili , chopped onion , little salt fry them for 5 min , so that they will cook finely .

4) Now add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves  after a small break add you toamtoes , turmeric ,  red chili powder mix them all  and cook it for 5 min 

 5) Add  aloo mix it real good , add salt to it. you can add 1 glass water if you like gravy type (otherwise you can skip water ) stirring for 5 mins then add masala , coriander leaves  , keep lid on it for a min .


You prepared wonderful  easy dish aloo tomato recipe ....

Enjoy it with roti , chapathi , roasted bread slices , rice , nans , flattend rice , puffed rice
